having moved into an apartment four months ago, sight unseen,I quickly learned that it is infested with mostly cockroaches, which the management deliberately opted to not inform me about. The owners have about 7 to 9 properties all largely on the same street, and all of them have a serious bug infestation, which is forever perpetuated by them allowing tenants to move back and forth between the several properties, simply transporting the bugs again and again. I've refused to allow for them to spray my unit because I have 16 parakeets living with me and because I've been unable to make arrangements for them to be taken out of the house while the spraying is going on. HELP!!!

Ants in the open are an important part of the ecosystem - they break down soil, and keep the growth of other insect populations under control. Inside a home, they are not necessarily disease carrying like rodents but they can cause damage when they are present in large numbers. If you have swarms of ant population threatening to take over your kitchen and your home, get in touch with the Jacksonville area's trusted ant exterminator.
Ants work in a very methodical fashion. They quickly set up colonies where there is plentiful supply of food and water, and this colony is headed by a queen whose only purpose is to breed many ants. They send out scouts to look for food, and when the scout has located that slice of pizza that you left out on the counter, it quickly goes back and reports it to other members of the colony. After this, depending on the species, you will either see an entire colony of ants all moving towards the food in an orderly manner, or you may see a few random ants making their way to the food. Either way, the ant is following a scent trail that has been laid by the scout. When you find a few ants running about, don't assume that there are only a few -- the rest of them are back at the colony hard at work!
Ants are not the only insects invading your home- spiders, and other bugs too can infiltrate your home, and can breed. If you notice a long line of ants along the sides of your walls, don't wait for the colony to expand. Call a bug exterminator or an ant pest control service immediately! We will rid your Jacksonville, Florida area home of your ant problem. Simply fill out the form or give us a call, and say good bye to ants!
